Dear ADI Fellows:
Our ADI Foundation is very active and financially stable. I have become President of the Foundation after our friend Dr. Larry Cox, II passed away suddenly last year. With this letter I would like to bring you up to date and encourage you to contribute to the Foundation this year.
Our mission is to spread the knowledge of dentistry and serve the dental health needs throughout the world. The new Foundation brochure updates the varied projects and grants we have supported over the past few years. Mrs. Mildred Goldstein, President of Harry J. Bosworth Company and Vice-President of the Foundation, has printed the brochures for the Foundation. Our corporate Board members: Dr. David Alexander, GlaxoSmithKline; Mr. Larry Farrell and Mr. Kent Fletcher, Sunstar Americas, Inc.; Dr. Mark Heiss, GC America; Mr. William Landrigan, Procter & Gamble; Ms. Tree Mainella, Dux Dental; Ms. Paula Vogel, A-dec, Inc.; and Ms. Vickie Waitsman, Dental EZ Group; have all given generously of their time and expertise to help our Foundation.
Every year we receive more worthwhile requests for aid and grants than we are able to accommodate financially. Even though we are not a large group, our ability to help others has been impressive. You can help by giving your contribution directly or through estate planning. All of the ADI Foundation Board members and corporate Board members receive no reimbursement. This is truly a volunteer organization.
We have a wonderful group of Fellows that sacrifice to help others. I respectfully ask all of you to review the brochure and to make a donation to the ADI Foundation.
