The Academy of Dentistry International (ADI) shares condolence and compassion to all the population of Nepal. There are no words to describe the agony, suffering, sadness and grief of the people of this country as a result of the devastating disaster that has taken the lives of many and injured thousands of individuals. I invite all fellows of the Academy of Dentistry International to elevate prayers for their prompt and complete recovery.

It will take years for the country to recover from the catastrophe and its consequential implications. A new ADI Chapter was chartered in Nepal in November 2014 and as an organization we hope to be able to assist them in the best possible manner. We are contacting the Chapter Chair to identify most urgent areas of need and the most appropriate ways to cooperate. As soon as such information is available it will be posted to the ADI website. I encourage you all to consider assisting in this effort in ways commensurate to your capability and expertise.
