USE OF FADI......

To conform to good taste and accepted procedures, the use of the title F.A.D.I. is limited and is not used in all cases where professional degrees are used. An acceptable guide is as follows:

FADI may be used in College registers and bulletins, where faculty listings are presented with all degrees and titles. Its use following the periodical is at the discretion of the Editorial Board of the periodical. The editors can be informed of the Fellowship at the time that the manuscript is submitted. It may be used together with both academic and professional degrees, on the title pages of textbooks of which the Fellow is an author.

Although custom varies from nation to nation, it is generally expected when signing a visitors register that one should use only degrees for both information and identification.
