ADI UTHSC-SA CE Video StreamingWe are pleased to inform you that arrangements have been made with the Continuing Education Office of the School of Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA-SD) to facilitate fellows of the Academy to access specific stream video courses on diverse subjects in dentistry. The continuing education program at the UTHSCSA-SD ranks as one of the best in the United States. The UTHSCSA-SD is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. Non CE Accredited Online CoursesCourses presented by T.Bob Davis, DMD, MAGDThese monthly briefs will challenge and encourage you to include this prosthodontics concept into your practice. An objective of this method of CE is to fulfill ADI’s commitment to continuing education while conserving your dollars and time out of the office. These courses will be targeted to the general dentist and offer concepts that are practical throughout the world. They will also be a practice tool for introducing the new ADI website to all our members as you get comfortable with navigating the site, finding more and more about ADI, and even keeping in touch with other ADI colleagues through this portal. Oral Path Presentations (member sign in required)ADI Fellow, Dr. Jerry Bouquot, has graciously offered his teaching and knowledge in the form of the most popular oral path presentations on the web today!! Dr. Bouquot is sharing his Power Point presentations designed to help dentists and dental hygienists make better diagnoses of oral & maxillofacial diseases. It is a "public access" folder with more than 3,500 photos, mostly clinical, and many different types of informational files. All photos are copyright-free and none are locked in place, i.e. our membership can cut-and-paste any photos into their own talks/presentations and use any photo without asking permission (except for commercial publishing, of course) Use of Pressure Cookers for Sterilization of Clinical Instruments - R. J. Baez, DDS, MPH, HFADIQuestions are raised regarding whether indeed pressure cookers could be used as vessels for sterilization of instruments used in the clinic, whether “all” sizes of pressure cookers are suitable and whether the source of heat play a role in the process. |
